Mini-Immersion Program

Created for those who have had some French experience in the past and who are looking for a place to practice and enhance their French speaking and grammatical abilities. This class is run entirely in French. Written homework is provided if requested. Certificates are provided to participants who attend a minimum of 4 out of 6 classes. Progress reports are provided to student (or employer) by request. This class is designed for participants 18 years and older. These programs are designed to be a starting point or a refresher for the basics of French. They're FUN, INTERACTIVE and very SOCIAL - plan to participate!

This course will last for six weeks and is offered year-round.

Course Outline

This class is custom-designed each session to suit the skill level, needs and interests of the participants. Some classes are grammar-oriented, whereas others are more vocabulary-based - this is determined by the needs and requests of the group (information will be taken the first evening of class). Each 6-week session is different, so students will learn new skills each time they re-register. It is run entirely in French, at a beginner level, for those beginners who are looking for more of a challenge. Students who are more advanced will be provided with extra challenges within the class through interaction with other advanced students and the instructor. This class works extremely well for anyone who is interested in speaking French only for an evening a week! Former French Immersion Program graduates find this class to be an excellent refresher!

Class Size

Typical class size is 10-15 students, which ensures lots of one-on-one instruction time for everyone in the class.

Pricing

  • New students: $190 + HST = $214.70
  • Returning students receive at 10% discount: $171 + HST = $193.23
  • 10% discount per new student you recruit (recruited student must register and complete one of the current programs)
  • Employers will receive discounts for enrolling more than one employee.
