April 15, 2020 - Please note that due to Covid-19  restrictions, we are not able to offer any in-person classes at the present time. We continue to offer private tutoring (by phone or Zoom), our  online French Grammar Class and  our (new)   Online French Classes.   We are currently offering all our traditional  "in class" programs online. 

Tutoring for adults

Sometimes, getting to class is challenging - why not consider private tutoring? Are you getting ready for language testing?  This is one of our specialties. 

We can provide one-on-one or small-group language training in either French or English. We welcome private individuals, businesses and public employees to learn French (or English) that is meaningful to you - we teach you what you need to know for your goals and interests.  

• All levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to advanced!
• Private sessions are custom-designed for your needs and interests.
• Sessions can take place by phone or on Zoom  (this is due to Covid-19 restrictions)
• Sessions are typically booked by the hour and  are scheduled to  accomodate your busy schedule!
• We book "as we go" (much like you'd schedule any other type of appointment) to find times that work for you.  
• Please note that  there is an additional cost for WEEKDAY sessions - please inquire for details. 

 Tutoring for children/Reading or  Math Buddies

• We work with school-age children in both French (Immersion students welcome) and English.
• Tutors are  experienced teachers (or other adults) who work with children daily.
• Experienced tutors (exceptional high-school/university students) are available days (through the summer), evenings and weekends (all year-round).
• We can provide progress reports to  you and/or your child's teacher (there is a small fee for this).
• One-on-one or small group sessions are available.
• Tutoring can take place at a location that works for you and your tutor - we have lots of suggestions for great places to meet. (*Currently only available via Zoom due to Covid-19 restrictions)
• Sessions are designed to be productive, confidence-building and fun!

Reading  /Math Buddies 

If you would like your child to spend time reading (in French or English) with a university student,  we do that too!  Sometimes, working with an "older kid" is a great motivator - we select students who are  mature, responsible and good students. They spend time with your child (usually at the library, or another public location) working on reading, math or other areas (homework, etc.) - it is meant to be fun and a confidence booster for your child!
